Install the Extension

If you haven't already, install SweepYourMail from the Chrome Web Store. Click the button below to go to the store page.

Open Gmail

Go to mail.google.com and sign in with the Gmail account you used to purchase your license.

Important: Use the same email address you used during checkout.

Open SweepYourMail Settings

Look for the SweepYourMail sidebar on the right side of Gmail. Click the gear icon (settings) at the top of the sidebar to open the settings panel.

Enter Your License Key

In the settings panel, find the "License" section and click "Activate License". Paste the license key from your purchase confirmation email.

Your key looks like: SYM-PRO1-1-a1b2c3d4e5f6-1735689600-x9y8z7w6v5u4
Check your email for the purchase confirmation from Gumroad. The license key is included in that email.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I find my license key?

After purchase, Gumroad sends an email with your license key. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for an email from noreply@gumroad.com or sweepyourmail@gumroad.com with the subject "Your SweepYourMail purchase". The license key is a long code starting with "SYM-".

My license key says "invalid" or "wrong email"

License keys are tied to the email address used during purchase. Make sure you're logged into Gmail with the same email address you used when buying the license. If you used a different email, you'll need to log into that Gmail account or contact support for assistance.

Can I use my license on multiple Gmail accounts?

It depends on your plan:
Day Pass & Pro Single ($9/year): 1 Gmail account
Pro Multi-5 ($19/year): Up to 5 Gmail accounts
Pro Unlimited ($29/year): Unlimited Gmail accounts

To use the same license on another account, simply log into that Gmail account and activate the same license key.

I don't see the sidebar in Gmail

Try these steps:
1. Make sure the extension is installed and enabled in chrome://extensions
2. Refresh the Gmail page (Ctrl+R or Cmd+R)
3. If using multiple Gmail accounts, make sure you're signed into the correct one
4. Try disabling other Gmail extensions temporarily to check for conflicts

How long does my license last?

Day Pass: 24 hours from activation
Pro Single/Multi-5/Unlimited: 1 year from purchase date
